A hoist (also known as a winch) is a device that is driven by human or mechanical power to complete the traction work by winding the drum and rope. It can vertically lift, horizontally or diagonally pull heavy objects. There are two types of winches: manual winches and electric winches. Nowadays, electric winches are the main type. The electric winch consists of an electric motor, a coupling, a brake, a gearbox, and a drum, which are installed together on the frame. For situations with high lifting height and frequent loading and unloading, good speed regulation performance can quickly lower the empty hook. For materials that are installed in place or sensitive, a slower speed can be used.
